Albatross is an exploration of the oddball side of the game.
Golf has always had a reputation: stiff, serious, and all about the rules. Recently, it’s had a glow-up: cooler clothes, younger crowds, more mainstream attention. But for all its newfound style, golf still hasn’t gotten weird. And, weird is where the good stories live.
That’s where we come in.
We chronicle the obsessives, absurdists, and beautifully strange humans charting new fairways in this confounding game of ours. We believe their stories make the game more fun, more inviting, and more interesting.

This town is the best in the world for many things, but playing golf isn’t one of them. So, we’ve settled for writing little bits and making pretty pictures about it.
